Don't be fooled Acorn will be back with a new name

We must remain alert because the Democrats are now following the elite Republicans in calling for an investigation into Acorn. On the surface this sounds as if Democrats are really interested in cleaning up the corruption in Washington but the only way Democrats can get elected is by using Community Organizers to get illegal votes. Can I prove this?, of course not because the vote, for now, is still private and must remain this way until Obama starts something like card check to force us to let him and his Democrat cronies know exactly who we are voting for. Yes we do know that Acorn must be deprived of our tax dollars and they must be investigated because we have seen what they do with out tax dollars, however, we must be aware that it will be reopened under another name. Don't relax, keep up the pressure.

Acorn is caught breaking the law and is suing Fox News because they reported it

The two young people doing investigative reporting, which is what the news media used to do before they became government run organizations, are to be prosecuted for exposing the lawbreaking. How very Liberal. Move over state run media this is how true reporting is done. I don't care which party you are in corruption in government is no longer going to be tolerated. We, the American People, are tired of corruption in all parties, Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or any other party and we are not going to take it anymore.

Acorn has put many politicians in office, including Al Franken, through voter fraud and because the liberal politicians have protected Acorn the investigations are either ignored or stopped before Acorn is exposed. Only these two young activists had the nerve to actually show just how corrupt Acorn is. The next paragraph is part of a response Acorn gave on who they feel should be brought to justice not Acorn who is the law breaker but those who dared to "expose" the law breakers. Acorn has decided to take O'Keef and his partner to court because they exposed the corruption. They are also suing Fox News because they ran the story showing Acorn for who they really are. If it weren't so serious it would be funny. Here is Acorns response.

"In response, ACORN officials blamed FOX News and conservatives for fueling the controversy.

"By its actions, Fox is not a news outlet but rather an advocacy organization for rightwing interests that seek to defeat healthcare reform and stymie solutions to the foreclosure crisis," the group said in a statement to FOXNews.com. "That said, with regard to the Census, ACORN has always said it would encourage full participation in the decennial count, and we will continue to do so."

ACORN chief organizer Bertha Lewis said the videos capturing her former workers were "doctored, edited, and in no way the result of the fabricated story being portrayed by conservative activist 'filmmaker' O'Keefe and his partner in crime."

Lewis said ACORN will take legal action against FOX News and those involved in the making of the videos. She said ACORN offices were also targeted in San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Philadelphia, among other places.

"I am appalled and angry," Lewis said. "I cannot and I will not defend the actions of the workers depicted in the video, who have since been terminated."

Taxes Going Up Again on September 1st

Beginning next month, virtually every Wisconsin taxpayer will send even more money to the state treasury.

A vast majority of the $3.1 billion state tax and fee hikes enacted by Democrat lawmakers took effect immediately after Governor Doyle signed the state budget in June. Exceptions included the second cigarette tax hike in less than two years and a new phone tax, both set to take effect on Tuesday.

Every telephone line in Wisconsin – wireless, landline, voice-over internet, and facsimile – means another $0.75 per month in the state coffers. If you pay for a wireless family plan with several separate phone numbers, each one will be taxed. Your home office line is taxed in addition to your personal line, and a fax machine means another monthly tax payment.

Small business owners who provide cellular phones and pagers to employees, in addition to the necessary landlines, are taxed again and again. Large employers, school districts and healthcare providers get a bit of a break after paying for 10 lines, but face hefty increases nonetheless. In all, the state will collect $107.6 million in less than two years.

The cigarette tax increases from $1.77 to $2.52 per pack, while taxes on smokeless tobacco products also go up. It means a $334.8 million tax increase during the current budget period which ends on June 30, 2011.

When Governor Doyle signed the 2009 state budget on June 30, his accompanying press release declared that “the budget does not raise taxes on middle class families.” It’s a bold statement, but completely indefensible. It is simply not true.

If the definition of “is” can be debated, I suppose anything can. But to argue that these aren’t taxes or that middle class families won’t pay them more than strains the governor’s credibility.

From the start, Governor Doyle and legislators tried to disguise the phone tax by labeling it a “fee” in the state budget bill. It’s officially titled the “police and fire protection fee” even though the dollars are not required to be spent on either of these public safety services.

Wisconsin residents pay many fees in exchange for specific government services. Hunting and fishing license fees pay for conservation programs and state park fees pay for the upkeep of those parks, among others.

In contrast, the $107.6 million collected from the phone tax is deposited in the state’s general fund along with income, sales and excise tax revenues. From there, the money is distributed to local governments through the existing Shared Revenue program.

Shared Revenue needed the cash infusion to fill a hole created by Governor Doyle and Democrat lawmakers who cut payments to local governments in order to send more money to Madison, Milwaukee and their own districts for special projects.

There are no limitations on how local governments can spend these dollars and, more importantly, no requirement that they pay for police and fire protection, despite the intentionally deceptive name of the “fee.”

Attempts by Governor Doyle and Democrats to trick taxpayers didn’t end there. They authorized telecommunications companies to roll the tax into the existing 911 fee currently printed on all phone bills. That fee was established to support 911 emergency services and, most recently, to finance upgrades so that dispatch centers could receive and track cellular 911 calls.

If phone companies take advantage of this option, the bill will show a “charge for funding countywide 911 systems and police and fire protection fee.” Democrats are banking on two things. First, that by combining the new tax with an existing fee, you won’t notice it. Second, that if you do notice the “fee” increase, you will assume it is funding 911 emergency services – services you benefit from as a phone user.

The cigarette and tobacco taxes are as straightforward as they come. They won’t affect every middle class family, but they will certainly affect a good number. The governor and supporters of the tax frame it as a strategy to stop people from smoking and say it’s not really about the money. If that were true, the tax increase would have been paired with a corresponding tax decrease so that taxpayers didn’t pay more, but of course it wasn’t.

These are just two examples of the hypocrisy of Madison Democrats who say middle class families aren’t paying new taxes. In May, I compiled a list of new fees and taxes Governor Doyle and Democrats have imposed on middle class families. In July, I shared a complete list of tax hikes in their final two-year spending plan. Take another look if you have a few minutes. The fact that the governor and the Democrats feel that there is no need for their words to match their deeds will likely make you as livid as it did me. As our twentieth president James Garfield once said, “the truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable.”

Wisconsin: Kapanke Wants Voters to Pick a Different Kind

Republican state Sen. Dan Kapanke (R) is strongly considering challenging seven-term Rep. Ron Kind (D).

Kapanke said in a phone interview last week that he is close to making an announcement about a Congressional bid.

“I’m more than thinking about it and I haven’t announced yet, but I’m very close,” Kapanke confirmed.

Kind has won re-election by hefty margins since first winning the seat with 52 percent in 1996.

Kapanke, who just won re-election to the state Senate in November, said he believed Kind was vulnerable and that he has come across “a groundswell of people who are concerned about what’s happening at the state level, as well as at the federal level” in the western Wisconsin district.

Kapanke has not met yet with the National Republican Congressional Committee. However, meetings with the committee and other GOP campaign officials are in the works.

Dishonesty in Government

As my friend "P" pointed out I did lump the Congress, House and Senate, as part of the Obama administration which they should not be but as I see it they are one and the same. Whatever Obama wants he gets or he punishes them.

Slaughter of the Innocents

America is now defined by the murder of their children. I said some time ago that if women continued to murder their innocent babies even before they are allowed to take their first breath they would began to kill their post-born children if they became a burden. This is now happening in greater and greater numbers. What defines America today? The right to murder the innocent. Democrats and their government stand for pro death. The slaughter of the innocent pre-born children, euthanasia of the elderly and sick, in the case of the sick they torture them to death by denying them food or drink, and they refuse to prosecute women who kill their post-born children as murderers. They have post partem depression and that gives them the right to torture their children to death by downing them, remember water boarding is torture so holding children under water until they die is torture. Men who murder their post born children are prosecuted as killers but their sentences are quite light.

Why do I say this? Because I have heard different comments from Republican liberals that the Republicans lost the election because they stand for life. Well I am sorry but the Right to Life is in the Declaration of Independence and true Americans believe in the right to life. So to all the people who believe in the murder of the innocent to heck with you, true Americans will always believe in the right to life. And if we have to be in the minority so be it. At least we stand behind the freedom to live that defines America.

CULTURE OF CORRUPTION

When in the world is the corrupt Obama administration going to be investigated? Geitner, Dodd, Rangle, Pelosi, Reid, Boxer, Diane Feinstein and the list goes on and on are embroiled in fraud, pay back, tax evasion, kickbacks and other illegal activities. If this was the Bush administration these people would be investigated within weeks. No matter what proof of their innocence it wouldn't matter they would be branded as criminals. Rampant corruption is encouraged by Obama as he advocates for and protects these people and he should be investigated also to see why he keeps putting criminals in his administration. We are now being ruled by an administration of criminals.

Senator exits MILCON following Metro exposé, vet-care scandal
SEN. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. As previously and extensively reviewed in these pages, Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum's ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein.
As MILCON leader, Feinstein relished the details of military construction, even micromanaging one project at the level of its sewer design. She regularly took junkets to military bases around the world to inspect construction projects, some of which were contracted to her husband's companies, Perini Corp. and URS Corp.
Perhaps she resigned from MILCON because she could not take the heat generated by Metro's expose of her ethics (which was partially funded by the Investigative Fund of the Nation Institute). Or was her work on the subcommittee finished because Blum divested ownership of his military construction and advanced weapons manufacturing firms in late 2005?
Oh, interesting twist. She didn't quit during the time she had a conflict of interest but after her conflict of interest was effectively over? How Bizarre.
Feinstein abandoned MILCON as her ethical problems were surfacing in the media, and as it was becoming clear that her subcommittee left grievously wounded veterans to rot while her family was profiting from the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan. It turns out that Blum also holds large investments in companies that were selling medical equipment and supplies and real estate leases—often without the benefit of competitive bidding—to the Department of Veterans Affairs, even as the system of medical care for veterans collapsed on his wife's watch.
Who knows. Congress has a focus that is solely anti Bush and anti republican; so don't expect too many people to care. She will just walk away from this.

North Korea is not cowed by Obama's threat to talk them to death

Maybe Obama can force Iran into peace with his charismatic personality the way he was able to convince North Korea not to test their nuclear weapons. This proves talk is cheap when it is not backed up with real bravery and the knowledge by the enemy that we will protect ourselves if we have to. They know Obama doesn't have the guts to protect us if we are attacked after all he has told all nations a number of times that we deserve to die for our sin of sending aid to every country in the world when needed. We truly are a rotten people and like little Hitlers we deserve death. Oh that is right that was the courts that ruled that this was true, Obama just implies it. Under Obama's dictatorship I do not feel safe at all. He has already given Europe the right to run this country as they see fit and I am sure they really care if our people are nuked. Well, the people of this country voted for Obama and they knew of his obvious weakness so I guess they don't care if part of this country is destroyed.

Obama Show Your Real Birth Certificate

All I require is for Obama to show a legal birth certificate. A certificate of live birth is not enough, I know he was born alive because I watch him destroy America one freedom at a time.

I know that my question is permitted because I watched President Bush be crucified hour by hour because the Florida officials would not let the courts change the Constitution to match their need to get Gore elected. The Constitution can be amended only by the will of the people not the court. So questioning the legitimacy of a live birth certificate instead of the original is not out of line and the President must be a natural born citizen.

Does Obama have a Muslim past and why does it matter? Muslims are suggesting that Sharia "Koran Law" be added to our Constitutional law and practiced side by side. Sharia law uses public beatings, decapitation, limb removal and other very unacceptable punishments, is this what Americans want in our country? Is this a far fetched idea? Sharia law is now being used in the United Kingdom and public beatings have been recorded. The possibility of Obama's past Muslim upbringing influencing him to sign into law the Muslim Sharia law is very frightening.

I don't have the time right now to give info to those who didn't watch or listen to the G20 meetings and the results that have taken away the sovereignty of America but Obama has allowed foreign nations the right to oversee our economic doings in the United States. The liberals are rejoicing over the European takeover of America without one shot fired Obama gave it to them making the G20 a grand success for the world but bad for every American citizen. You were warned about the one world government, Christians and all who voted for Obama, it has now happened. I know that China, Russia and Iran are very concerned with the citizens of America's well being so we will be well taken care of! George Washington and our founding fathers sure wasted their time trying to make us a free nation because we gave our freedom away at the last election. Especially as Obama stole the election through fraud and corruption. Obama is not a natural born American therefore does not have the right to be president and the only reason he is sitting in the presidents chair is because of the corruption of Acorn his right hand "man". He can't talk he stumbles like an idiot, he is Muslim and has Muslim interests being his first priority, and he hates America and the Capitalist system. Acorn buses show potential killers the houses of AIG families so they can attack the CEO's children. The CEO'a wives and children have been threatened by left wing crazies and are being shown the way to CEO's homes by Acorn buses. Have you heard of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are Federally funded organizations who buy up sub prime loans from banks (who under threat of investigation) were forced to give loans to people who have no way of paying the loans back.

Every day I hear people saying, “Elect Obama”; do they realize that they are promoting the socialization of America (which is the first stage of Communism)? Khrushchev was right Communism is taking over America without one shot fired.

Is Obama the Proletarian Dictator of America? Listening to what Congress is doing I have to believe so. With no checks or balances in our Government the Dictator Obama has complete power to do as he pleases even to seizing private property.

Obama The Monster

Congratulations America you can now slaughter more babies in the guise of stem cell research. How wonderful especially knowing that adult stem cells have already been proven to help with disease and birth defects. This is just more of Obama's desire to have control over life and death.

He also signed into law the right of the government to decide whether or not senior citizens will be allowed to have certain health procedures done based on how much longer they may live. A panel will be set up and if you are elderly and say you have cancer and you need chemotherapy or radiation therapy this panel can tell the Dr. that the procedure is too expensive for the amount of life you have left. As the life expectancy of a human runs around the ages of 68 to 78 and up the refusal for medical help can be denied starting around the age of 68. I call this the "euthanasia of the elderly by neglect".

Another law he past is that children live born who are found to have Downs Syndrome or some other birth defects or maybe just not wanted by the mother may be thrown in some back room and left to die without any human kindness or love. This is called a live abortion. What a sick perverted person is Obama. People who believe in "the murder of live born children by neglect" are nothing short of monsters. America has elected a monster who really does believe he is God and has the power of life or death over his subjects. America what have you done?

Rush is not the last man standing

Rush keeps saying he is the last man standing, well he may be. From what I can see Congress is killing America and I do not see huge rallies being conducted to rebel against the deliberate destruction of our economy. I do not see Republicans standing up and fighting against the rape of the people of America. Republicans seem to agree with what is happening by their passive acceptance of this rape.

But I want to stand up and say that I stand with Rush and what he says. His speech on Saturday was right on and his response to Michael Steele's comments Monday was a perfect description of what is happening with the Republican party and why I sent an e-mail to Mr. Steele asking him to remove my membership from the Republican Party. The Republican elected officials do not represent my belief system any longer. They are cowards of the highest standing and I no longer want to be represented by them. It will be hard since I have considered myself a Republican since 2000 and I have used the title "Republican" to explain who I am, but no longer. I will not stand with a brain dead party who will not lead a revolt against what Obama is doing to this country. I am a Constitutional Conservative, for those who voted for Obama, this means I believe in the Constitution as it was written without the changes made by the currant judicial system.

This is a note to all Christians. For years I have heard that during the Rapture that the United States is not mentioned in the Bible. I have always rejected the idea that the United States could no longer exist. I have now changed my mind I see the United States as we know it disappearing into the Hugo Chavez socialist state. The country may still be here but it will have no significance what so ever. We once were a great nation but with Obama, Reid and Pelosi in power we are disappearing into oblivion. Those of you who read the Bible take note of what Revelations says. Also a good series of books to read would be the "Left Behind" series by Tim La Haye. If you want to know what is going to happen to us it is in there. I know that it is a fictional series but the premise pretty much tells us what to look forward to. It is coming and we need to know.

E-mail to Senator Debbie Stabenow on the "Fairness Doctrine"

If you want fairness then you must also include Magazines, Newspapers and T.V. and all other forms of public information on important issues. Your bill is poised to do one thing and that is to keep the public from knowing the truth of things and I can't believe that an American Congress person would try to keep other opinions from being voiced. Liberal info. is exclusively given through the newspapers every day, it is gotten so bad in Hollywood that I have stopped going to the movies and all other forms of news give exclusively liberal views. Leave America the only form of hearing our point of view alone. If your husband wants to have a radio show with Liberal content let him do it like the rest of radio and if the public wants it then it will succeed. You should be ashamed of your abuse of your elected power to support your husband. Please leave the Senate as you are proving you don't care about the public you are to be serving but to use your public office to serve your personal interest.

I encourage others to send letters, call or e-mail the Senator to let her know how you feel.

The Death of Free Radio

Read about the Fairness Doctrine. It will soon be possible to shut down Conservative talk shows and the Obama regime has the power to do it. What has happened to this country? The bill is presented by Senator Debbie Stabenow D. Mich. who's husband has tried to get Liberal talk shows started on the radio but they fail because no one wants to hear them. Liberals get all the proper misinformation they need from T.V., newspapers, magazines also from liberal Hollywood but that isn't enough for Obama, he needs to see that his lies are not exposed and he can only be sure that no one realizes just how many lies he told during his candidacy except by stopping free radio. I guess that we will now need underground radio stations in order to keep exposing Obama for the liar he is. I never thought I would live in a country where the government would be able to take away your freedom to hear the truth.

We need to send mail, e-mails, and make phone calls to Senator Debbie Stabenow and let her know that she is in for a big fight if she wants to take away what freedoms we have left.

Did you know that a Senator has also introduced a bill that would get rid of the 22nd Amendment which limits the term of the President to 8 years. Does this sound familiar? Have you heard of Chavez and Venezuela? They are voting for this very issue and they have been threatened with dire consequences if they vote the wrong way.
